Thornlea Medical Centre and Walk-In Clinic provides same-day medical services by highly trained medical doctors and requires no appointment.


We provide extended weekday and weekend hours


We are a Primary care walk-in clinic for same-day medical services, and do not provide ongoing comprehensive family medicine, nor is this an emergency department.

Range of Services provided are:

 -General medical assessments for walk-in patients

-assessment of primary care medical issues

-Drivers Physicals

-Minor Procedures

-Medication review and renewals

(NO NARCOTICS/TRANQUILIZERS/SLEEPING PILLS)

-Basic travel medicine ( this is not covered by OHIP)

-Wart treatments

 

Uninsured Services:

The services listed below are available however not covered by OHIP, and are billed directly to the patient (please note that this list is not comprehensive) 

-anti-aging treatments: Botox and Fillers

-sick notes

-back to work notes

-child camp physicals

-drivers physicals and taxi checkups

-medical visits for patients who have no OHIP coverage

-certain procedures

-chart copies and copies of medical tests
Please note that the clinic generally does NOT provide the ongoing care of complex chronic conditions, the filling out of complex forms, or the arrangements of referrals - such matters should be handled by your family physician.

please be advised that during times when there is a high volume of patients, patient registration may stop earlier than the posted closing time as the office will endeavor to shut down at the time posted; in addition, in cases of exceptional circumstances, and times when one or more regular doctors need to take time off, hours may change temporarily than the posted time above.


   If you intend to come within 2 hours after the opening time, please call to find out if the clinic will still be accepting  patients.
